White cats are beautiful, elegant, and a true delight and are represented by several breeds as well as alley cats.

Do White Cats Have Health Issues?

Short answer is no. Only a true albino cat has health issues directly related to their white coat. However, all white cats, (and white dogs) are at a higher risk of deafness from birth. They also sunburn more easily.

Looking at these pictures, how could anyone have doubt these cats are beautiful? They have may have long hair, short hair, blue, green, amber eyes, or even different color eyes. Blue is the most common. White is the least common coat color.

There are no personality traits associated with white cats. It falls back to the breed- not the coat color.
