Cat with No Ears Gets a Knit Hat

A stray cat named Lady in a Fur Coat was brought into Dane County Humane Society. This cutie suffered from advanced ear infections and had to have its ears removed, so a volunteer knitted an adorable hat with ears for this cute kitty! The response from their Facebook page was so big the cat was quickly adopted.

The shelter stated on the Facebook page: “It is likely she can hear better now! The chronic infections had caused the outer ear to block the entrances to her ear canals”

“This sweet gal has been on quite the medical journey since coming to us stray in December. Lady required her ear flaps to be removed due to chronic infection and hematomas. That hasn’t kept her, though, from giving some happy head bumps to everyone she meets!
DCHS staff member Ash Collins crocheted her a lovely ear bonnet to keep this lady looking stylish!” According their Facebook page.
