Typically the Pomsky cross breed has the look of a miniature Husky, but with her red coat Maya looks more like a fox with blue eyes!
Designer breeds have some controversy. It is not a breed in a formal sense. It has no breed standards to conform to and traditional breeders claim there is no health screening done to prevent health issues, deformities and mutations. This has not prevented the Pomsky popularity or how pricey they are.
The Pomsky has a very soft double coat that keep it warm in cold winter weather. Without more standards established, it is impossible to make accurate descriptions of their traits and behavior. There are even claims of a toy Pomsky that is even smaller.
