Otis is a senior cat who had to have its ears removed due to an illness called Otitis externa, and his owners had given him to the Feline Rescue Association (FRA) of Baltimore as they couldn’t afford the vet bills.
For Molly Lichtenwalner, 23, it was love at first sight. It was important to Molly to adopt a special needs pet after a car accident left her with a brain injury and anxiety and she knew right away that this match was meant to be.
Molly told the Sun that what he lacks in ears he makes up for in personality, and commented: “He loves people and the more people he has for snuggles the better! This loveable senior has been registered as Molly’s emotional support animal.
We are so happy for the both of them!
I need your help so I can rest easy! I got so many wonderful backers on my Kickstarter yesterday, but only ONE today. I need your help so I can be in mommy’s children’s book. The way Kickstarter works, people who back the project are eligible for rewards (it’s basically a preorder). However, if the goal isn’t meant, donors are not charged and I don’t get the funds towards the book. See the link in my bio to donate or learn more about the project! ?
