A cat in New Orleans has his mojo working thanks to firefighters who brought him back to life with a special oxygen mask made for cats and dogs.
The apparent lifeless cat was pulled from the flames and smoke of a kitchen fire in the Seventh ward area of the city, reports FOX 8 news.
The cat was revived within minutes of using the mask.
“I guess he has eight more lives,” said Doug Cardinale of the city’s fire department.
Two other cats in the building escaped unharmed.
Fire crews arriving at the blaze spotted the cat on the ground in a hallway close to flames, said Cardinale.
The cat was then returned to its owner and said to be doing just fine.
