HUNTINGTON, Ind. — A marooned kitty still has nine lives thanks to a daring and quick thinking resuce when a cat somehow got marooned on a spillway of a dam in Indiana.
According to Huntington County Sheriff’s Department on Facebook , a fisherman spotted the feline stranded on the spillway at the J. Edward Roush Lake dam.
Nobody could reach the cat until the Army Corps of Engineers decided to step in.
After shutting down the water flow, they sent a boat out directly underneath the area of the dam where the frightened cat was.
Video shows that when the boat reached the spillway, the cat slid all the way down into the arms of the rescuers before it hit the water.
