LOS ANGELES (October 22, 2013) — Dog is Good, a dog lifestyle company that creates and markets gifts and apparel for dog lovers, will host The BOLO Project Puppy Shower to benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 at the Waterfront Hilton Resort in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Special features at the event include a meet and greet opportunity with BOLO, the future leader dog; auditions to be a star on DOGTV, the first television channel scientifically designed for dogs; a Pamper Your Pooch Station hosted by Posh Pooch Grooming; a Halloween Costume Contest, a Kids Coloring and Activity Center, silent auction, raffles, and food and party favors for everyone in attendance. The BOLO Project, a year-long fundraiser to benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind, officially launched on Oct. 1, 2013. Created by Dog is Good, The BOLO Project is designed to raise awareness of the remarkable work dogs do for people every day. It will follow the journey of one puppy as she is trained to become a Leader Dog (more often referred to as a guide dog).
